NEPSE portfolio app
Your shares, valued live.
Are you beating the market?
Add holdings manually or import from MeroShare. See live value, day change, and Portfolio Insights: benchmark comparison, sector concentration warnings, and a capital gains tax countdown per holding that tells you when to wait and how much you save.
What the number means
Knowing your portfolio value is step one. Knowing whether you are ahead of the market, whether one sector is taking over, and when each holding turns long-term for tax: that is what an investor actually needs.
What it answers
Four questions your portfolio should answer every day.
Value, gain, sector weight, and tax status. The four numbers that turn a list of holdings into a decision.
How it works
Add once, check anytime.
Enter your holdings, set your average cost, and let Punji track gains, sector drift, and tax timing from there.
- 01
Add your holdings
Enter stocks manually with symbol, quantity and cost, or connect MeroShare and let the import fill everything in. Family accounts can be added the same way.
- 02
See your live value
Your portfolio updates through market hours. The summary shows total value, day change and invested versus returns. Tap any holding for the full breakdown.
- 03
Read the insights
Scroll to Portfolio Insights: benchmark comparison, sector concentration check, and CGT countdown per holding. Each insight is one or two lines of plain text, no jargon.
- How do I track my NEPSE portfolio?
- Add holdings manually by entering the stock symbol, quantity and cost price, or import them directly from your MeroShare account. Once added, the app shows the live value of each holding, your day change, total invested and total return, updated through market hours.
- Can it import holdings from MeroShare automatically?
- Yes. Connect your MeroShare account once and Punji pulls in your real holdings. You can link multiple accounts, including accounts for your spouse, children or parents, and switch between them from a single screen. The import reads what MeroShare knows, so your quantities and cost basis come straight from the source.
- Does it show whether I am beating the market?
- Yes. Portfolio Insights compares your return against the NEPSE index over the same period you choose: one month, three months, one year, or since you started. You see your percentage gain next to the index gain so the comparison is honest. If your portfolio is up 8% and NEPSE is up 5% over the same window, you can see that clearly.
- What is the CGT countdown?
- Capital gains tax in Nepal charges a higher rate on shares you sell in under a year (short-term) and a lower rate if you have held for a year or more (long-term). The CGT countdown shows, for each profitable holding, exactly how many days remain until it qualifies for the lower long-term rate, and roughly how many rupees you would save by waiting. A reminder fires before that date so you do not miss it by accident.
- Can I track portfolios for the whole family?
- Yes. Add MeroShare accounts for any family member and switch between them using the You switcher at the top of the portfolio screen. Each account shows its own holdings and return. You do not need to log in and out each time.
- Is my portfolio data private?
- Yes. Your holdings, quantities and values are never shared with ad networks. The app requires your device biometrics, fingerprint or Face ID, before it opens the MeroShare section. Sensitive screens cannot be screenshotted on Android. Only you can see your numbers.
Free on iOS and Android. MeroShare import, family accounts, CGT countdown included.
