One screen. One read. No scrolling.

The questions you used to answer by tapping through Top Movers, sector chips, and indices now answer themselves on one screen. The colour is the answer.

Sector rotation in 2 seconds

Is hydro hot today? Are banks bleeding? Mutual funds quietly green? A glance answers what would otherwise take three screens of scrolling.

Outliers pop

A small tile blazing red inside an otherwise green sector catches the eye. You discover a stock you would never have searched for.

Built for the morning open

Pro traders open heat maps first thing each session. Punji now matches that habit on the way to work or over the first cup of tea.

Screenshot, share, done

The map screenshots beautifully with Punji branding in the header. Post it to your trading group; it reads in one second flat.

How the Heat Map works

1

Open the Heat Map

Tap Browse, then Markets, then Heat Map. Loads instantly. No setup, no filters to configure.

2

Read the colour

Bright lime = strong gainer, bright red = strong loser, neutral grey = roughly flat. Bigger tile = bigger sector. The whole market is one glance.

3

Drill where it matters

Tap a sector to see its stocks laid out the same way. Tap a stock to open its detail page. Three taps from the market overview to the chart you actually want to look at.

Heat Map. Questions answered.

Yes. While NEPSE is open, the map refreshes with the same cadence as the rest of the Live Market data in the app. Outside session hours, it shows the most recent session's closing snapshot, clearly labelled.

Colour goes from neutral grey to bright lime for gainers and to bright red for losers. The intensity is proportional to today's percentage change, capped at three percent so a single circuit-limit outlier doesn't wash the entire screen one colour.

Tile size is proportional to the sector's share of total market capitalisation across the actively traded universe. Heavyweight sectors take more space; light sectors get smaller tiles.

Yes. Tapping a sector tile opens a second heat map of just the stocks in that sector, sized by their individual turnover. Tap a stock tile to jump straight to the existing Stock Detail page.

Of course. The header includes the date and Punji branding, so when the screenshot lands in a Telegram or Viber group, anyone seeing it knows where it came from.

No. Heat Map is a mobile-only experience for now because the tap-to-drill-in flow doesn't translate well to a static page. This page explains the feature; the app does it.
