NEPSE screener

Filter the whole market
down to a shortlist.

Set your criteria once: sector, P/E, P/B, dividend yield, volume. The screener narrows every NEPSE-listed stock to the ones that actually qualify, and alerts you when the set changes.

The problem it solves

NEPSE lists over two hundred stocks. A search box only finds what you already know to look for. A screener finds what you did not.

What it answers

Questions the screener answers in under a minute.

Set the filters once and the screener narrows the whole NEPSE universe to the handful that actually qualify.

  • Does every sector have good value right now?

Filter by sector, then add a P/E cap. The results show you which companies in banking, hydro, or micro-finance actually trade at a valuation you would pay, rather than making you guess from the index.

  • Which stocks pay a meaningful dividend?

Set a dividend yield floor and the screener surfaces every NEPSE stock that clears it. Add a profit growth filter and you narrow it further, to companies that are both paying and growing.

  • Save a screen, let it work overnight.

Saved screens run in the background. When a stock crosses into your criteria, you get a notification. The screener becomes a standing watch rather than a task you have to remember to repeat.

  • Find what you would not have thought to search for.

A search bar finds what you already know. A screener finds what you did not know to look for. Low P/B in the finance sector, high yield in micro-finance, unusual volume alongside strong earnings: those are screener finds.

How it works

Set once, watch always.

Pick your filters, read the results, save the screen. Punji watches it daily and notifies you when the set changes.

  • 01

    Pick your filters

Choose sector, price range, and any fundamentals you care about: P/E, P/B, dividend yield, or volume style. The result count updates live as you add each condition.

  • 02

    Read the results

The matching stocks appear in a clean list with the key metrics you filtered on shown side by side. Tap any row to go straight to the stock detail page.

  • 03

    Save and get alerted

Save the screen with a name. From that point, Punji watches it daily and sends you a push notification whenever the matching set changes.

What is a stock screener?
A stock screener is a filter tool that narrows the full market down to the stocks that match criteria you set. Instead of scrolling through every listed company, you say something like "P/E under 20, dividend over 3 percent, banking sector" and the screener returns only the stocks that qualify.
Can I screen NEPSE stocks by P/E ratio?
Yes. The screener covers fundamental metrics including P/E ratio, P/B ratio, dividend yield, earnings per share, and return on equity, as well as sector and price-range filters. Set the values that matter to you and the results update to match.
Does the screener update daily?
Yes. Fundamentals are refreshed each trading day from the official NEPSE data. The screener you open on Monday morning reflects the latest published figures, not stale numbers from last week.
Is the screener free to use?
Yes. The full screener, including saved screens and all filters, is free on iOS and Android. No upgrade required.
Do saved screens alert me when new matches appear?
Yes. Save any screen and Punji will push a notification when a stock enters or leaves the result set. You set the filter once, and the market watches it for you.
How many filters can I combine at once?
You can combine as many filters as you like: sector, price range, P/E, P/B, dividend yield, volume style, and more. The screener applies all conditions together, so a result must satisfy every filter you have set.
